Easter Eggs To Look Out For In Moana

So you, like us, have probably seen Moana about 6 times already, right? It’s just SO good.

The music has been stuck in our heads non stop, we’ve looking into sailing lessons and Moana herself is our new imaginary best friend.
We like Moana SO much in fact, that we’ve noticed a load of little Easter eggs just waiting to be found. Here’s the rundown:

Flounder from the Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid was Moana’s directing team Ron Clements and John Musker’s first film for Walt Disney Animation Studios so it’s only right that Flounder makes an appearance during Maui’s “You’re Welcome,” sequence.

Marshmallow from Frozen

Chief Tui and Moana are standing in front of a tapa cloth that features an interpretation of a familiar snow monster.

Baymax from Big Hero 6

The kakamora are more cute than terrifying, especially when you notice that one of them has painted his face to look like everyone’s favourite personal healthcare companion.

Ralph from Wreck-it Ralph

Did you spot Ralph in the end credits of the film? He got his own tapa cloth. A Wreck-It Ralph sequel is slated for release in 2018 and this time he’s going to wreck the internet!

Okay, we’ll stop now so you can go watch the movie and spot all these Easter eggs in the film itself.

Moana is now available as a digital download from iTunes or Google Play or pre -purchase your DVD or Blu-ray from Disney Store.
