What You'll Need
  • Empty milk carton
  • Scissors and/ or craft knife
  • Light blue embroidery thread
  • Dark blue embroidery thread
  • White embroidery thread
  • Clipboard
  • Marker pen
  • Silver spray paint
  • Glitter (optional)
How To Make It
  1. Print and cut out the snowflake templates.

  2. Use the marker pen to trace around the snowflakes on the milk carton.

  3. Cut out the snowflake from the milk carton, following your lines.

  4. Spray paint the snowflake silver. Add glitter for extra sparkle!

  5. Cut six strips of thread to 18 inches long and cut in half. These two sections will form each side of your bracelet.

  6. Thread a group of six strands through each of the holes on either side of the snowflake and tie a knot in the at the top to secure. Use a clipboard to secure your bracelet as you braid.

  7. Separate your strands from the knot into two groups of three.

  8. Start with the strand furthest on the right group, and pass it over and then under the other two strands in its group, moving towards the centre.

  9. Now you should have four strands in the group on the left.

  10. Pass the strand which is furthest on the left under, then over, then under the strands to it's left, towards the centre.

  11. Pull tight!

  12. You should now have two groups of three in each hand, like you started with.

  13. Repeat this process until you reach the end. Do the same on the other side of the snowflake and tie the two braids together to complete your bracelet!
