What is the festive season without a beautiful wreath adorning your door? How about trying your hand at making a Mickey shaped one this Christmas.
- 1 large polysterne wreath
- 2 small polysterene wreaths
- 5 large different coloured wool felt sheets
- Acrylic metallic paint in festive colours
- Leather sheets
- Leather bow
- Red beads
- Glue gun
- Fabric scissors
Pre-treat your leather by painting it with the acrylic paint of your choice. Let it dry.
Trace rough leaf shapes onto your fabric and leather and cut them out in a variety of colours. We went for a traditional teardrop shape.
Stick each leaf to the large wreath using your glue gun making sure they overlap slightly and fill in any gaps. Make larger and smaller leaves to add variety to the wreath.
Trace a bow shape on whatever fabric you'd like to finish off the wreath.
Glue the smaller wreaths to the larger wreath and hang up for all to see.
