We know that small changes can make a big difference so, we’ve put together some guides to enable you and your family to make those changes. Here’s how to get your whole family warmed up for some Disney workouts. Ready? Let’s Go!
1. The Mickey March
Get your family all in a line and march on the spot getting your knees as high as possible. Who will get their knees the highest? March for 30 seconds.
2. Minnie’s Star Jumps
Reach for the stars! Jump up and extend your arms and legs in a star shape. Keep on jumping for 30 seconds. Good job!
3. Pluto Plank
Walk your paws forwards until you’re in plank position then walk back until you’re standing up. Repeat the planks for 30 seconds.
When you’ve finished your exercise remember to cool your body down and stretch out your muscles. Sit down on the floor and bring your feet together so your soles are touching. Hold this position for 20 seconds. Stand up and bend one leg at the knee behind you. Hold it with your hand for 30 seconds then switch and do the same with your other leg.
It is important to stay hydrated whilst you are exercising so make sure you remember to take your favourite Mickey water bottle with you, which you can find at the Disney Store.
