Now that your kids’ Disney Infinity farm is flourishing with tomatoes, sunflowers, and Jack’s pumpkins, help them grow the real versions for the family to eat and enjoy.
Once your kids have got the hang of growing their own crops, why not try seasonal plants such as strawberries?
- A cardboard egg carton
- Packet(s) of seeds
- White paper or card
- Garden soil
Using a pair of scissors, cut off the lid of the egg carton.
Download and print our white picket fence template. Cut it out and tape the edges of the fences together around the sides of the egg carton.
Poke a small hole in each of the egg cells to allow water to drain.
Fill each cell with potting soil from your garden.
Place the seeds in the soil, according to their planting instructions.
Download, print, and cut out our Disney Infinity farm plant labels. Then glue them to the toothpicks.
Stick the plant labels in the soil and watch your seeds grow (don’t forget to water them!).
When the plants start to outgrow the egg carton, simply cut each cell out and transfer to the soil outside in your garden (the cardboard will disintegrate).
Tip: for quick results, try planting something like radishes where you should see results within days!
