Inspired by all the Disney Princesses, especially the free-spirited Pocahontas, this craft makes a beautiful accessory in any bedroom.
- A printer
- White paper
- White card
- Wool in 3 colours
- A hole punch
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Glue stick
- Clear tape
- Assorted beads & feathers
Print a dreamcatcher template onto white paper. Choose the stencilled feather design if you want to colour it in using your own colours.
Glue your template onto white card and cut it out using scissors or a craft knife.
Punch holes through the circles indicated on the dreamcatcher using your hole punch.
Thread the wool through one of the holes in the dreamcatcher. Tape the end of the wool to the back of the dreamcatcher.
Now you can create your own dreamcatcher pattern by weaving the wool through the other holes. When you’re finished, repeat step 5 with the remaining colours of wool.
Add beads and feathers to the long, loose ends of the yarn. Tie off the ends to complete.
Tape some wool to the top of your dreamcatcher, and hang it in your child's bedroom.
