Bring all the emotions to your Easter celebrations with this fun-tastic Inside Out egg decorating craft.
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Egg dyeing kit or traditional egg dyeing recipe
- Glitter in character-corresponding colours (Green, Red, Purple, Blue, Yellow)
- Glitter glue
- Containers to hold egg dye
- Embellishments (e.g. wire, coloured tissue paper)
Prep each dye to correspond to the base colour of each emotion (red for Anger, green for Disgust, purple for Fear, yellow for Joy and blue for Sadness). Follow the dye instructions according to the kit or use the traditional vinegar and water recipe.
Dye each egg to match the colour of each emotion. Allow the egg to fully dry.
Add base characteristics, such as hair and general clothing, to each corresponding character’s egg using glitter and glue.
Build details using additional glitter colours and embellishments like wire for Fear’s head and Sadness’ glasses. You can also use coloured tissue paper to recreate Anger’s flames.
Allow each layer to dry
