This delicious dessert is inspired by the Doc herself.
These apple rounds teamed with peanut butter and raisins make a wonderful sweet treat without all the bad stuff. Doc approved!
- 2 medium green apples
- 6 tbsps low/no sugar peanut butter
- 3 tbsps raisins
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Wash and core the apples. Cut each apple into about ¼ inch rounds.
Spread peanut butter on half of the apple rounds. Sprinkle raisins and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon on rounds with peanut butter. Top with remaining apple rounds and gently press down to make the sandwiches.
Sprinkle remaining cinnamon on top for garnish.
